APPLICATION CHECKLIST

Your application will be considered complete upon receipt of the following items:

A completed and signed application

A copy of your official high school transcript

Two letters of recommendation from qualified adults who have worked with you at school, church, and/or in the community (a teacher, counselor, pastor, youth leader, etc.)
- Letters of Recommendation should be submitted by the writer directly to the Scholarship Committee using the nauwraleighscholarships@gmail.com email or the address below.

A personal statement (written by you) stating why you are applying for this scholarship (special financial needs, etc.) and any additional information about yourself that might be useful to us in making our final decision.
- This statement should be no more than 500 words (if submitting a paper application it should also be double-spaced).
- This information should include your involvement in school, community, and/or church activities, your special talents, and your future career goals.

Please submit a wallet-size picture of yourself with the completed application.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

The Raleigh Branch of the NAUW is accepting applications for the current year. Scholarship applicants may be male or female students pursuing an undergraduate degree at a four-year accredited college or university. Only full-time first semester college students are eligible. Students must be enrolled in college during the Spring 2027 semester.

The application and the requested information must be submitted by 11:59pm September 15th, 2026.

You can apply for the scholarship below.

If you are selected to receive this year’s scholarship, you will be notified of our decision by October 31st, 2026. The scholarship will be awarded prior to the Spring 2027 semester.
