APPLICATION CHECKLIST
Your application will be considered complete upon receipt of the following items:

A completed and signed application

A copy of your official high school transcript

Two letters of recommendation from qualified adults who have worked with you at school, church, and/or in the community (a teacher, counselor, pastor, youth leader, etc.)

Letters of Recommendation should be submitted by the writer directly to the Scholarship Committee using the nauwraleighscholarships@gmail.com email or mailed to NAUW Raleigh PO Box address below.

A personal statement (written by you) stating why you are applying for this scholarship (special financial needs, etc.) and any additional information about yourself that might be useful to us in making our final decision.

This statement should be no more than 500 words and double-spaced

This information should include your involvement in school, community, and/or church activities, your special talents, and your future career goals.

Please submit a wallet-size picture of yourself with the completed application.
SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
The Raleigh Branch of the NAUW is no longer accepting applications for the current year.
The qualifications for scholarship applicants will be released when the application opens. The application checklist references the qualifications for the most recent scholarship cycle. Applications open around August 1 of the current year.
When the application opens it should be returned by September 15, of the current year.
If you are selected to receive a scholarship, it will be awarded prior to the beginning of your 2nd semester. You will be notified of our decision by October 31, of the current year.
